Pardon the Interruption

detour-2496197_1920So I’m pretty new to this whole blogging thing. I know, I know…way to catch on to a trend when it’s no longer trendy. Par for the course, I suppose.

But one of the reasons I started blogging six months ago is because I want to be a legitimate published author one day. Writing a book, however, sounded hard. Writing a blog post? Totally doable! And that’s how I found myself here. I understand, though, that I can’t just keep doing the same thing forever and expect to meet my goals, so I’ve decided to branch out and promote the blog on Twitter. Currently, I’m a bit intimidated by Instagram and Pinterest, and Facebook really really doesn’t like anonymous accounts because Russia. So Twitter it is! If you’re on Twitter, could you do me a favor and follow me @fortymatches or, even better, occasionally retweet me. Y’all are the best, and I’d be happy to return the favor, so comment with your handle if you’re just as late as I am to all things cool and trendy.

Another thing I’m doing is entering a writing contest! Hooray for trying new things, right? If you’re interested in learning about Write Club 2019 or judging the thirty finalists as they go into a multi-genre head-to-head battle, click here.

That’s it for now. Pardon the interruption — we’ll now return to the regularly scheduled programming.

  1. I used to dream of writing a book, but I think I prefer blogging. I can see exactly how many people read and like what I write and get instant feedback.

Maybe I’ll change my tune if I ever catch up to you in the followers department. đŸ˜†

      1. Funny thing is, I have more followers than ever but my views took a nosedive once I finally put my penis in someone.
